soooo, it was to our surprise and delight to find this review of our new album Weekends in the very cool Canadian blog Textura a full month before the record is released. Enjoy. We hope more positive critical opinions  are to follow.

hello all. Sorry for the month of silence, but we have been quite busy behind the scenes. In addition to practicing for live shows, we are busy recording new songs (!), working on the first video for the new record, preparing the deluxe edition of our upcoming record,….etc…

We are planning on playing cd release shows in Atlanta and in Athens sometime in February as well as a few other cities………We will be sure to keep you informed. It should be a busy and productive year ahead. We will let you know once we have live show info and more news about our new record. Today, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that Alternative Press exclusively announced the release of our new single, “funny girl” and offered it for streaming on their homepage here. It also features a nice photo and reveals the album artwork for new record WEEKENDS which comes out 1/31/12.

soooooo, our pressed cds arrived today and they look rad! Only the first pressing will include the limited edition braille cover, so be sure to buy near the release date of 1/31/12. I will post a picture of the album art in the next few days, but the background of our website should give you an idea of what it looks like.

also: have started shooting a video for one of the songs on our record, just4kix, but chances are we will not release it until later next year. anyway, it was directed by the super talented art photographer Mark Steinmetz who has been making waves in the art world in the past couple of years. the video was shot on super 8 and should be beautiful. (his photo is used for this post)

hi. The Chrysalis E.P. has been very well received and has already been mentioned on a few blogs, among them here and here. PLEASE feel free to share with anyone who you think would enjoy. We are working on some more songs right now that we hope to release before the end of the year, but we will see……..The E.P. is still FREE, but quite soon we will be taking it down….So if you have not downloaded yet, be sure to do so soon before it is too late. 

Our new full length has been slated for release on Tuesday, January 31st. We are working on a deluxe, limited edition version of the record as well. More details to follow by end of year. 

We are also planning some live shows, so if there is somewhere we should play, let us know. Ok. More news to follow soon.
